Poor check on investments among the students’ unions in Lund
The students’ union at the faculty of Engineering has invested in funds that own shares in the tobacco-, weapon- and oil industries. The inspection made by Lundagård shows that few students’ unions in Lund have any ethical guidelines for placing students’ money.
Few places on courses in Swedish
The number of exchange students at Lund University has almost doubled in the last ten years.
But the number of places on the Swedish courses has stayed the same.
– I would have appreciated further studies at university level to be able to learn the language, says student Lukas Gwardak.
