20 Years of Love & Anarchy
Mika Siltala, Pekka Lanerva and Matti Paunio spent most of the 1980’s sitting in bars and cursing the misery of the Finnish film industry. Censorship was rigid and anything even remotely alternative was uncommon.
Siltala, Lanerva and Paunio decided to build their own film festival.
This fall their old hobby, Love & Anarchy -festival, is arranged for the 20th time. It has become the most popular film event in Finland — and a full time job .
Philosopher and Soldier
Aki-Mauri Huhtinen studied to be a soldier and then to be a philosopher. Now, at the age of 35, he is a professor of leadership at the National defence academy. In Huhtinen’s opinion University and its teachers should learn something about how soldiers are trained.
Discipline like in the army?
No, but more small courses and student counselling intead of mass lectures.
